I just bought 2 new 12" permacool fans for my sr. One of the fans, Im hooking up to the A/C so when I turn on the A/C the one fan goes on. The other fan, Im trying to hook it up to the stock temperature sensor but when I check for current running throught the plug (temperaure sensor) nothing comes up. How do I wire up my other fan to work with the stock temp. sensor? I cut the plug off the stock fan harness and found 4 wires, (white/red stripe),( brown/white stripe),and 2 black wires which I already know are the grounds.

You should meter the Wires but im pretty sure Red/White is constrant 12v Brown /White is the switch and Blacks are ground.

I dont know why you dont jut put them both on a switched Fan control. If the AC comes on it still will have fan blowing through it if you have them both on a temp sensor switch. You can get an adjustable thermastat for the fans for 20 bucks at advance auto or probably auto zone.

I have an autzone fan controller kit for my altima fans. It's wired to come on at 185 and shut off at 165. Works great and was fairly easy to setup. Make sure you mount the relay/switch somewhere where it won't get wet.
