Sr20det exhaust smoke after boosting.

hey guys,

i just installed my sr20 motor and after bringing it to 5k rpms one time, it starts to smoke out of my tailpipe.

is this a sign of a blown turbo?? or too much oil???

blue smoke = burning oil. look in your cold pipe if its dripping oil the seals on your turbo are done. If this is your first time driving the car since the swap the smoke could be normal. Some motors sit long periods and get leak down and compression tested several times before sold.
