The Question:
I was originally shooting for an extremely reliable daily driver with moderate performance and massive potential for more power. The current set up is making 413 WHP and 383lb/ft at 18psi. However here in lies the problem. The problem is the 3076 I went with from garrett is internally waste gated. I can't get a higher rated spring for it and I don't want to rig it open. The solution is to go with a new turbo housing and external waste gate which requires a new manifold as I dont feel modifying the current one is the best solution either. Plus I'm not sure it will fit. However what I'm quickly finding out is there aren't many reputable companies out there making a flanged twin scroll manifold which will keep the A/C, P/S, etc. If anyone could point me in the right directions I'd greatly appriciate it. Thanks for the time.
