For those out there wanting a top mount turbo setup for a decent price i would be careful when choosing a kit from ebay. I ordered a kit and none of the an-fittings fit. I had to order the oil feed line seperate and it also did not come with a barbed flange for the oil return. Also several couplers and pipes were missing from the kit. The seller is supposedly sending them after me taking pictures of what i recieved and telling him what i did not recieve. Also the exhaust manifold did not fit on the studs and i had to do some filling on the holes to get it to fit correctly. I'm currently relocating the power steering resivor and will keep my progress posted for those who want a semi cheap alternative to the top mount setup.

i bought a regular bottom mount manifold from an ebay store called Options Import. It was so poorly designed the flange couldnt even meet with the turbo because the outlet hit one of the pipes. never again ebay, never again.....

What manifold did you buy? I personally bought my megan manfold for my SR from Option Imports and it fit perfectly fine. That shop is legit.

Yes i wouldnt doubt that Option ImportS is legit but, OptionS Import is not. They are a knock off company that uses another reputable companies name to scam people like tyrants

Everyone knows about this already nothing new. The top mount eBay manifold it a POS. On the other hand, the bottom mount t25 manifold has been used with great success.

ignorance is being surprised that gray market s*** failed.

im just a realist/cynic.

i do find it funny you say "ull" but can spell "perpetuating" and "ignorance". not knocking you, just i found humor in that.

and NOONE's posts in this thread did ANYONE ANY good. if you are naive enough to believe that EBAY stuff would work/fit well, then you will buy it anyway, while denying fact.

if you are smart enough to spend your money wisely on GOOD parts, then you would have an attitude like mine, frustrated that people still think "ebay stuff must be good... it sure is shiny, and CHEAP"

i hope none of you fine, upstanding citizens take offense to my oh-so-crazy rant here, cus i sure dont wanna bunch any panties up over silly little taiwan-made gray market parts. that would just be absurd.

i was like wait! what nobody caught that?!

do it and then post. i guess ebay would still suck because the item was sold as direct bolt-on, now it involves removing that nasty c-clip. no?

Could be a lot of things, maybe a vacuum leak, or IACV, or maybe just because your running an atmospheric bov. Some people have idle issues running bov's atmospheric, for some reason I don't.

I ran an atmospheric bov before with my stock t25 and had no idle issues whatsoever. But then again this is a fake hks sequential bov so that could be my problem right there

it has not been tuned or flashed since the stock t25 turbo was in it. Im taking it to get it tuned soon. And yes there is a bigger turbo lag then when i had the t25. But it definatley puts out plenty of power. from 4500+rpm. Also the Fpr is not installed just using the stock one atm.
