sr20det dipstick pops out

The dipstick keeps popping out on a blacktop sr20 when I really get on it. Ive searched and read similar threads saying it could be a bad oring on the dipstick or it could be blowing out due to high crankcase pressures. It builds boost and pulls hard just fine so I'm hoping its just the oring on the dipstick. How can I know for sure??

Can you explain how your pcv system is laid out? Is it facotry? Does it have breather filters, are things capped off? Regardless if the O ring is bad or not, you are experiencing crank case pressure. It could be a lot (good O ring) or only a little (bad O ring). Doing a compression check and knowing your pcv setup will help a lot in determining which scenario you fall into.

This isn't my car, Im looking to trade my current 240 for this one but this has been sketching me out a little bit. Im assuming its the stock pcv setup and I'm gonna compression test it as well. Worst case scenario would be fried rings correct? And what are good compression numbers for blacktop sr?

157psi is factory spec. If it's below 145psi or has a larger than 14psi spread, then walk away. I may be off a couple psi or so, but I think those are the exact numbers.
