My KA24DE car was dying on idle 2 out of 5 times. Turns out the Throttle cable was loose and needed to be pulled in about half an inch. Because of the lack of throttle air, whenever my brake booster kicked in it sucked what ever air there is in the intake and kills the engine.

PVC hoses under the intake manifold? Those things are hidden and more over-looked than the rest.
