SR20DET coolant temp sensor clarification needed

hey guys,I have a blacktop S13 SR20DET and I need to replace my coolant temp sensor for the ECU, not the gauge, and need the part number. I did a search on it and end up with the same name for both sensors (gauge and ECU). Thanks for your help in advance.

go to your local autoparts store and find the CTS for the KA24DE.

thanks, got it now i just got to get around to replacing it - where the hell is it located anyways . . .

It's located on the front of the intake manifold just under the throttle valve.

thanks, i did a search and it seems like everyone is having issues finding this thing. i read all the seach posts and ended up still confused.

follow your lower radiator hose. you'll see an elbow pipe go to your block. on that you'll see two sensors behind the elbow. the one with 2 wires is the CTS.
