ok guys i just noticed a drip of coolant dripping off where the trans meets the motor.
i look in the engine bay and on the intake manifold side(passenger) i notice coolant running down the top of the transmission.
and above that in between the motor and the firewall i see a black hose that looks snapped in half/broken im not sure where this connects to or see the other half of a hose where its supposed to go.
i can see green coolant inside this hose. so i assume it is the culprit. there is also some coolant on the forward part of the motor right infront of the trans im assuming its from the same place just ran down the front of the motor but im paranoid... What are these hoses for and why is coolant coming out of them?
AND i noticed a second small puddle of coolant right above my oil filter. there is a smaller rubber line coming off right behind the place where the radiator hose connects im assuming this is the culprit for this leak... as there is no coupling on this line. can someone verify that this is a coolant line?
And the last leak i believe is coming from the oil drain for the turbo, as there is oil all over my lower steering rack, and i think this is causing a small drip of oil on the other side of where the trans meets the motor. does this seem likely?
about the car
it idles fine and solid(although high like 1300 rpms) ( i think bc of the safc?), holds boost, will start to brakeup and become very rich in high rpms i think this is due to being tuned too rich though. but drives normal otherwise no hicups
it had a junk radiator(single core, rust water) so i replaced it with an aluminum one when i bought the car, no more overheating, it did overheat once after install but was due to air in the coolant, so i took the cap off and let the air bleed out, no overheating whatsoever sence.
i did not notice the leaks before, but its probably due to the old rad being filled with water and not green coolant....
