SR20DET Coilpacks

Turns out one of my friend's sr20det coil packs are in fact not working causing him to be running on 3 cylinders. And since its a sunday most shops are closed and he needs one coil pack asap. Does anyone know where to get one or a car that we can pull one from? Thanks. (Houston, TX)

Heavy Throttle sells used coil packs for around $35 a piece. There is no true replacement coil pack for the SR because all of the USDM coil packs have different upper housing designs. Maxima quad cam motors use the same coil pack, but I would only use it as a guinny pig for timing.

What car is the maxima quad cam in? He just needs to run off some temp coil packs until the sr ones can come in the mail. Why would you only use them for timing?

the compatability list points out the z32 or the 95+ maxima's coilpacks. If you need a coilpack I've got a spare set and could sell off one if you need it.

they're from my blacktop 13 sr but they're the same as the redtop s13 sr. kept a spare set for "just in case" but an entire spare set of 4 was a bit overkill. lol.
