i know im not an sr guy but mike wants me to help him choose some cams for his sr20. hes thinking hks step 2 cams 272. is there an installation guide or torque specs for this? any one have any info on the subject matter?

As far as putting them in. Its just like putting in the stock ones. But a cam that large is going to need better valve springs then the stock ones. From what I understand you can get away with 264's with the stock springs but go any higher and you are asking for problems. Good luck.

HKS offers 3 stages of cams all featuring a 264 duration. The stages offer different amounts of lift. Stage 1 can be used with stock VT. Stage 2 needs upgraded springs. And stage 3 springs and a lash killer kit

ur sr wont even idle with those 272 unless u got sum serious fuel tunning done. stick with the stage 1 264 unless u get new springs
