Does any one have good pics of this transmission or can u direct me to a website that does? I have looked for some, but I can't find any.

I would like to see the probability of converting my 95 sentra to this AWD platform

The probabablity of you successfully converting any US Sentra to AWD is approaching impossible. It has been tried, unsuccessfully, and has not been tried since. I used to read about this on the SR20forum when someone would make a thread about it. Go there and search the topic. You should understand that the main reason it will not work is because of the rear suspension and the gas tank, not to mention that there is probably no room for the transfer case and no way for the drive shaft to route. You also have to realize that the AWD SR cars have no crossmember, you do and you need it. Just get a 00-01 B15 Sentra 2.0 SE or P11 G20 trans with the VLSD and do what you need to do to get it to work with your B14. They are much stronger than the 91-99 SR20 trannies and will work with very little modification.

If you do not have anything to contribute to making this work - please don't tell me how it's not gonna work. I understand there will be a lot of work involved; however nothing is impossible.

Has anyone heard of a welder. You can cut and weld anything you want - including crossmembers, framing, body panels, etc. Yes cutting a frame or crossmember isn't a good idea, but if you have the car properly supported before you cut it and you weld in new framing that will give you the outcome that you want - you can do anything you want.

I am not guessing on this guys - I have done major frame work before including cutting and notching for clearance. And in fact if you know what ur doing you can make stock parts stronger than stock with the clearance you need.

So - In conclusion - if anyone has good pictures or contributing information you can give me - please send it too me; however I understand that the majority of ppl can't wrap thier head around this, so please don't tell me the "impossibility" of this, or how hard it's gonna be, cause I already have heard it and I know.

I have some rough drawings on the actual scope of work; however I need some more good pics so I can make some more detailed drawings. I will completely build this on the computer before I ever touch the car. this way I have a good idea of what is gonna give me the biggest problems.

So please send me some pics and also if anyone knows - Is the gear ratio in the diff of the 240sx the same as the gear ratio in the awd transmission??

No one has any pics because no one has done it. If you're looking for a pic of the transmission itself, here you go:

I've seen a few others, but I can't find them.

Yes this is exactly what I am looking for. Thank You very much. If you can find other pictures please send um this way. All the ones I find are of the front or top of the motor. I need the back and the side detail of the transmission (striaght on pics are the best) so I can roughly figure out where the rear output is gonna sit - I'm thinking I might need to put a c-notch in the crossmember - sounds like fun!!!!Again - thank you very much for your help!

Oh here is my rough drawing of the scope of work - please let me know if you see any major problems

Hello, Great Topic! How far have you gotten in the planning stages? I am very interested, cuase I want to do the same thing with my '89 Maxima (I want a 4-door Skyline R34, but since I can't get one here I'll just build my own). So, maybe we can work together on this.

Max to R34 is going to be even more ridiculously expensive and difficult. You might be better off importing a 4 door R33, since those are still legal.

check out www.sr20forum.com and www.sr20-forum.com

search "awd nx2000". I also saw a red b13 sentra that was awd on the forum but I wouldn't know how to find it again. But the nx was very popular cause it was a uber sleeper.
