sr20det block heater

what block heater can i use from another vehicle that will match up in my sr20det. have to drive it in winter with minus 30 weather.

pull and measure frost plug or get a magnetic heater.Can put the magnet heater about anywhere.

Magnetic on the oil pan is very effective, that's what we do with aircraft engines. Otherwise get on to go in the lower radiator hose, they're easier to install than the freeze plug replacements.

i just got a lower rad hose heater but how does it warm the coolant in your block to keep the motor warm wont it just heat the hose.
