How do I tighten the belts on a redtop SR? Is it the 6" long bolts on the side of the P/S pump, Alternator? I don't have A/C. I tried loosening and tightening these and it doesn't seem to affect the belts at all. Am I retarded?

check your post in the sr section. I posted how to tighten and loosen your belts.

make sure the bolt below the P/S is tight, then you tighten the side one
