Doing a forged build and I can't figure out the bearing sizes for my block. The block has a F21222 on it, the crank has 12221 and the number under it is 1122. Just to make sure, I add the block and crank numbers together for the mains?

Well I probably shouldn't go oem for high hp, so the clevite bearings; are they bigger then my stock bearings? I'll just get it machined to specs.

Most aftermarket solutions tend to be a bit on the tight side, which is fine. Just plasti-gauge the bearings when you get them to make sure they're within spec.

And if you aren't going with OEM, why bother to ask about the OEM stampings for OEM bearings?
