I'm having some problems figuring out what bearings I need to be ordering. I got the numbers off the block and crank.

Here is what I got:Block:F11211Crank:121111111

I measured the crank as well. This is what I got (in mm):crank/main:54.93-54.93-54.93-54.92-54.93con rod:47.96-47.99-47.95-47.94These measurements were with a handheld micrometer, so they could be a little bit off.

I will be using Eagle rods...

What bearing grades do I need? I keep reading over this FSM, but the picture labels are confusing me when comparing to the bearing grade tables...

Any help?

Thanks!

The rod bearings should have their part number stamped on them, whatever size nissan used in your motor. Whatever counterpart (if you choose to buy Clevite or other aftermarket) part number you need can be based off the stock number you find, no? If the removed bearings look healthy I wouldn't mess with replacement sizes. If you have to get the crank turned your machine shop will know what to do.

F11211 = Block Main Grade Numbers (#1 ---> #5)12111 = Crank Main Grade Numbers (#1 ---> #5)1111 = Big End Rod Bearing Grade (#1 ---> #4)

Main Bearing #1 - Nissan #2 Grade (Green)Main Bearing #2 - Nissan #3 Grade (Yellow)Main Bearing #3 - Nissan #3 Grade (Yellow)Main Bearing #4 - Nissan #2 Grade (Green)Main Bearing #5 - Nissan #2 Grade (Green)

Rod Bearing #1 - Nissan #1 Grade (Black)Rod Bearing #2 - Nissan #1 Grade (Black)Rod Bearing #3 - Nissan #1 Grade (Black)Rod Bearing #4 - Nissan #1 Grade (Black)

Of course you will need to double check all tolerances as wear can require machining or other grades.

If you are wondering how he came up with those numbers...

Take the number from the block and number from the crank and add them up one at a time. For example, in your case

Block: 11211Crank: 12111-----------------______233221+1 and 1+2 and 2+1 and so forth... the most left number is your #1 main bearing and most right is your #5

Con Rod bearing size is usually just the four numbers stamped on the crank

Ok, I got my stuff back from the machine shop the other day. I knew my main journals were slightly out of round, but the guy went ahead and machined them without even asking me first. He machined them to the same spec across the crank. If this causes me problems he will be buying me a new one (or probably engine since I don't think sr20det cranks are easy to find)... He machined the rods and journals as well...

Rod Bore - 2.0085Rod Journals - 1.8802Main Journals - 2.1541

Can anyone help me with bearings with these proper measurements?

Thanks
