I got the #'s of my crank and rods:

cyl: 1 2 3 4crank: 1 1 1 1rod: 0 0 0 0

so i need grade 1 bearings across the board. Anyone have the part #'s for those? Also, what kinda cost am i looking at, availibility, etc. What quantity do I order (ie. does each part # include 1 half, 2 halves, etc).

Lastly are the parts I need for a SR20DE...and is it assumable that all the SR20's use the same bearings (91-99)?

Thanks!

Just go to a parts dealer and tell them you need rod bearings and main/crank bearings for a 91' Sentra SE-R. Then tell them what grades of each you will need. The bearings come in a pair of halfs.

the sentra and s13 are the same. as with every other component on the gtir, the bearings won't work because they are better. my hate/love relationship with the gtir....because it won't fit in a s13. (thats okay, a gtir rhd complete car is being shipped to the shop this week!)shaun

You will need to check the 5 numbers on your block for the Main Bearings and add them to the 5 numbers on the crank, For the rods just order the ones that are on the crank, no math needed. Just a warning. PLEASE replace those thrust washers while you are in there. Even if you don't replace anything else replace the thrust washers. ( 91-94 Sentra SER ones work ) They will wear out quick at 14 or higher PSI.

A complete bearing set is about $100 and the value of plastigauge is priceless.

The thrust washers and bearings in my S13 redtop were trashed, and are being replaced. I think the guy who had the car before me, ran the thing at way over 14 PSI.
