SR20DET Battery Choice . Miata Or S2000 ???

I have a miata battery in mine. Only thing that sucks is that it kinda sits funny cause of the intercooler piping.

But it starts fine in chicago winter. 300cca at 0 degreesF.

I got a lawn and garden battery, works fine and lasts about 2 years for me, cold weather is eh ok but rarely gets below freezing down here. Best part is they are 30 bucks a pop.

Why don't you just dish out for a red top Optima battery? They're warrantied for three years, and they're the best I've ever used, hot or cold.

Seriously check out NRG cell batteries, Clean and simple installation and they have a great CCA Output.
