My sr just started idling poorly. and a friend of mine told me it could be a vacuum leak. i also noticed that it boggs down at about 3500 rpm. any suggestions as to where to start, what lines are most prone to leak? Also i know that the ign switch is bad and i went to midway nissan to get a ign switch and since i converted the car from auto to manuel does the type of switch matter? whether its auto or manuel?

The switches are the same, but make sure its not something else.

As for the leak, a can of brake clean will find it. Run the car and spray the lines, if you hear the car bog or change idle then thats the bad line. Or just use the time now to replace them all. Chances are if ones cracking others are soon to follow.
