I have a 90 s13 that was originally auto and converted to manual. Im getting ready to swap a s13 sr blacktop in. Since the sr has a manual harness, it wont' have the "E116" plug in the pic below. Do I just leave it unplugged? Also, what is the ASCD plug for and do I need it?

I currently have a plug bridged to trick my car into thinking its in park all of the time so it will start. When I put the SR in, will it start if I just keep that plug bridged?

Just leave the extra auto transmission plug unplugged. The ASCD is auto speed control device, cruise control. Dont worry about plugging that into anything. You shouldnt need to keep that car in park trick because all the auto computers should be gone.

Cool, thanks SpeedRacer1, but do I need to hook up a sensor to the clutch pedal so the ECU knows the pedal is down to start?

The sensor on the clutch pedal is simply a switch for a relay. It is actually extra work to hook it up. If you want to bypass it, and start the car with the clutch pedal up, then just ground the switch.

Mine is a 91 and was an auto it would not start without the "keep the car in park trick". Connected the two wires and it fired right up.
