Ok so I bought an Automatic SR20DET and a Manual SR20DET transmission/Flywheel/Bolts/Clutch.

Is it as simple as the KA where I just swap the trannys and everything is great? or is there some special Ecu mod I need to do??

I searched everywhere but I did not get any info..

No dummy.. My car is already a Manual...

I'm converting the SR from Automatic to Manual... So I was wondering if there was anything special that needed to be done...

when i got my motor, whoever had it before me did the swap, so i didnt have to do much to it. however, i think you need the wiring harness for the transmission probably from your manual car. and ive heard the auto ecu has trouble with idle when you convert it. on a manual, the idle is supposed to compensate for changes such as the brakes being used, and the PS pump. also the throttle position sensor is different. it doesnt have to be changed but i heard it helps.

After what you have gone through with your motor set I think they should send you a free ecu.
