Hey guys. I just put my car on the dyno yesterday and it came up to 255.8whp. This is an sr20det with:Stage 2 clutchAftermarket headers3" greddy downpipe3" exhaust all the way backFMIC with 2 1/2" pipingcold air intakewalbro 255 fuel pumpNismo 555cc injectors Z32 mafS-afc

Is it a good idea to spray a dry 32shot of zex nitrous? Also keep in mind I got the nitrous for free and its already installed just never sprayed it. What do you guys think?Boost controller boosting 15 psi

Dry nitrous isnt going to do much with your turbo, with only a 32 shot I doubt youll even feel it. You need a wet kit, I tried dry nitrous on my motor and was dissapointed until I got a wet kit. Im running a 65 shot , cant wait to take it to the track with the nitrous and LSD

Nitrous is a very effective power adder if you know how to use it, Ive had it on my car now for over half a year now(about 3 bottles) and my motor still runs strong as ever. After the rebuild and turbo upgrade Im going to look into a direct port system

tune it right and put a bigger shot on it. though i agree a wet setup would be better.

some d1 cars use nitrous to compensate for turbo lag, since they're all using HUGE turbos on motors that make something like 500whp. i think it's a good idea if you're running a big turbo and can't live with the lag to use nitrous in the lower rpm ranges to compensate for turbo lag.

*shrugs*

D1 cars must also use flux capacitors I take it?

The only D1 driver that I know uses nitrous is Kazama driving the Green Kei Office S15. He has an HKS-GTRS turbo on his car and uses about a 100 shot of nitrous to increase power throughout the powerband. Other than for him though, I dont know of anyone else that uses nitrous in D1
