I just got a SR20DET swapped S13 Coupe, and so far its been great but I would like to get the AC working. I took it to the local AC mechanic today and he said that I would have to get the SR fittings, as I currently have the originial KA24DE lines and they dont mount up to the compressor because the turbo is in the way. Is there a way to make them fit? Will buying the SR fittings make it work? Or will I have to get some custom made. How did you guys do it?

You need to put the ka compressor(assuming its from a dohc) on the SR then the lines will fit. I have a t28 and my lines still fit.

No... but it is only held on by 2 of the 4 bolts. Or you could get the sr and the ka lines tig welded together.

When i did this, it seemed like it was tilted at an angle and wasn't sure if the belt would hold. which 2 bolts should be used? I'm assuming this is for the KA compressor and SR Bracket

Which of these would I need to get it to work...Ill show three pictures with descriptions.

Picture Number One.

240SX AC lines.

Picture Number Two.

SR20DET AC Compressor.

Picture Number Three.

KA24DE AC Compressor.

From what you guys are telling me, it sounds all I need is picture one and picture three. Is this correct, or do I need the sr20det compressor, or what? Thanks for all your help, I just wanna make sure before I buy.

I don't have a dohc compressor but I have the SR one. Does it work ? Will the DOHC lines go into the SR compressor ?

There were a few guys on 240sxforums.com claiming that they had made some...It was in the SR20 section and the guy had pics of it and all of that (not sure if this guy owns this shop or not though, but I think he doesn't)..If I run upon it I'll post it

**EDIT**Found it faster than I thought I would..here you go hope it helps...http://www.240sxforums.com/for...acket

Thats what everyone stated earlier man..If you use the stock bracket w/ KA compressor, two bolts will only line up (I'd call that missalignment if they dont all line up) ....But the guy is making a bracket to use the KA compressor on the SR..Send a PM to the guy or something and see if he is still selling them..Good luck

BTW just keep reading the rest..You'll see where he talks about the bracket and its benifits...
