the older 200SX's are RWD if I'm not mistaken. Bluebird wouldn't work.

Yes, they are RWD. I used to own a 85 200. I wouldn't doubt that they fit. Large engine bay to work on too.

You're back east, try http://www.heavythrottle.com (NY) or http://www.afterdark-tuning.com (Ohio), don't know if they'll be able to help you on your install though. The older RWD 200SX's are probably different in some aspects when compared to 240's. Make sure you document your swap.

Hehe, its Iowa and I unfortunately don't know much about the RWD 200SX generation, I almost bought one like 1 day ago, I saw it, abused and neglected and pondered offering the guy a couple hundred bucks to take it off his hands, it looked like it was still running alright. : ) However, I have a lot of work to do before I could take that on. : )

... and wiring harness, and ecu, and ignitor chip, and all the other crap that won't work... A motorset or clip is the way to go, there is a reason why we all go that route.

oh no i will be buying like everything all together. Like wireing harness and ecu and power steering and stuff, but yea, i found a full engine set-up for $1499 which seems too good to be true.

yup, too good to be true. I am weary of any engine that costs less than 2000, no matter what. I have yet to see one that was without problems. That's why there are good people to buy engines from. Daunttless is one of them, Wayne at phase2 is another, Heavy Throttle, Unstable Hybrids seems good, haven't heard much about them though..... some others too

Oh man, I was just about to go off... then I saw this thread has a second page. That jspecauto guy is trying to play off his well known name by that URL. The engine is in Canadia, and he has ripped off a fair amount of people already. There is a sticky pertaining to this guy.

We have all done our research, you can't get a good engine that the seller stands behind for less than $2200. Daunttless or Wayne from phase2 both sell motorsets for $2200, and they stand behind the product. Please buy from one of them.

Yes, truly, its worth the extra money versus the headache, even if you don't go with me, go with someone reputable. : )
