sr20der swap over heating

I just did my sr20det swap didn't hook up boost controller or boost gauge. Car is over heating by just reving it or driving a little the fan works and fuses aren't popped?

Also my rpm's in my cluster don't work I got a 1989 hatch I got a jdm cluster that came with the clip still doesn't work I even tried takin the rpm gauge out of my stock cluster still doesn't work it work before I did the swap the wiring is good wat can it be pleaseee helpppppppp?

Check your coolant levels, and you might just need to swap out the thermostat.

As far as the other problems with the cluster, I have no idea, sorry!
