im going to do the se-r sr20de swap into my 97 200sx se... was wonderin if i would still have to do any weldings or modification?? also it would be really nice if someone can direct me into it... like a step by step thingy..?? help plz!!

If you can find a donor 200sx se-r, then you will have everything you need for drivertrain components, electrical, etc. So, the answer to your question is yes. As far as welding anything, NO.

There really isn't a step by step process. This swap is a complete motor swap and more. If you have never worked on a car before in depth, I wouldn't attempt this without help from somebody that can be physically there.

well... i have done many swaps for honda.... but only like twice for a nissan...240sx... and now trying to do some research for the 200sx.. my understanding with turning wrenches is fairly well, so i have no problem with that.... well, for the 97 200sx se to have an se-r or sr20de what are the main things ima going to need... probably not going to run a/c or p/s... help me plz!!

you will need all the things that are listed in the sticky. just get the parts for a 200sx instead of the b13 se-r, although most if not all are interchangeable.

how sure are... cause i dont want to get in the middle of this project and found out i have to get all these other things...

You will need everything from a 200sx SE-R that you don't have drivetrain wise. Obvsioulsy that means, motor, transmission, motor mounts, crossmember, axles for the LSD transmission, which would be the driver side, ECU, wiring harness, clutch, flywheel... I think you get the point.
