Hi Guys and Gals,

Im very new to the forums and looking for some info,

i have a 1995 Nissan Silvia Qs, and i am looking into turbocharging it.

After some research I've noticed that to +T it will involve removing the motor to drill and tap oil and water feeds/drains.

what i want to know is; is there any way around removing the engine for this/minimizing the amount of drilling and tapping (as i have a limited budget and very little workshop space for engine removal etc). if so what are these options?

I am quite new to engine work so if explanations could be kept simple that would help a lot :)

Cheers,
KiwiLad

My buddy just did this with a S15 SRDE. Block was driled and tapped for the oil return line, he used a S13 T25, as for the feed line, I believe there was a galley with a bolt in the block, coolant liners were tapped into going to and from the heater core.

Now the trick part..... Timing the motor. The stock ECU is going to fight you even with the Dizz retarded it will still be too far advanced. You can use a DET ecu and if your good at wiring that is all you need. If your not good with prints convert to CAS and coil pack with a DET harness and ECU.
