Is it possible to take a sr20de the FWD one and make it RWD? if so, how much would it cost? Does the sr20det trans not bolt up to the sr20de motor? and will I need custom engine mounts? please dont tell me to just get a sr20det, I asked the question to get answers to the question, not your opinion on what else I could do.

I'm sure it's possible, but why was the $ and the hassle of converting it to RWD. Not flaming, I'm just curious.

the FWD SR20DE block is different, it would cost alot of money and involve modification to the block, it would be cheaper just to buy a whole jdm rwd SR20DE+5 speed.

ok, thats all I needed to know :) the motor was possibly free.. thats all. so if it cost 1500$ to convert .. then its worth it.. yah dig?

but it sounds liek too much hassle.

but what parts are interchangeable.. if a lot of parts are interchangable, then maybe iLl use it as a parts motor when I getm y sr, since parts for the sr arent gonna be easy to find over here.
