Should fit the blocks are the same between the RR and the lowport/highport sr20's only difference is the head. So if you swap it over with all the components head up you'll be good.

lright, cuz i was told by one guy that the lifters are different between the motors, but never really understood how that could make a difference in this case.
so i can still use the same intake? or should i use the intake from the RR motor. i have both. i have the entire RR motor, but spun a rod bearing and scored the crank and a couple pistons.now i have a boiled out block that just needs new internals and funding =P

You probably want to swap in the ECU from that. I'm guessing the fuel map, among other things, is totally different...

Nope maps will work on the RR head the same as the non RR head. Only difference between the motor setups is the head has the roller rockers which just reduces friction in the head and you will get slight gains since the cams will move free'er IIRC its good for about 5-10 whp but since you have the JWT s3rr it will be even higher than that.

word. i had the RR motor in originally and spun a rod bearing and couldnt afford to rebuild the whole thing so i just did the head and painted valve covers so i cant wait to put it back in.
right now i need to replace the knock sensor as well which is killin my power. you think i could see upwards of 30-40 hp increase?

With the cams and the RR head I bet you'll be sitting at 20-30 hp increase over a stock non RR head. IIRC the s3rr cams are good for about 15-20 hp and the head is good for 5-10 hp like I said before.

Not happening. It would be a miracle to see 20.
