sr20de piston removal without removal engine?

new to SR motors, can't seem to find definite answer. Can this be done? Removal oil pan and the necessary caps..etc from underneath. Removal head and push the pistons out from bottom?? I did this on Honda motors, not sure on the SR...

uhh, you might be able to do it, but you might have to drop the cross member? I dunno though, you're probably better off just pulling the engine.

Save yourself some time and pull the engine or just get another used engine for less $500.00
