I posted oved on zilva.net so i was looking for some input from you guy. For my "204sx" build-up thread (yea i know i spelled it wrong),my motor seized up and now i need a new bottom end.

I am able to get an sr20 out of a pulsar or a sentra. My question is, is the oil squirters and the crank pulleys the only real differences between the two blocks (not considering the internals) I plan on getting a motor this weekend or maybe next weekend, and sending it off to a machine shop.

Thanks for any/all help

As far as I know, the transmission bolt pattern is different. So... No.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. FWD blocks and RWD blocks do not interchange due to casting designs for the relative platforms.

Ok, thanks. Ive search this for a while now and people have been going back and forth.

Why go through the trouble of getting a whole new motor and trans swap when all i need is a block. So since the DE version was avaible i was thinking about that..Thats y i was wondering...

Well...I guess i could part it out though
