SR20DE MAF question????

After searching i found that i can use the DE MAF from my 200sx/B14 on my 240sx/SR20DET. I noticed today when i went to hook it up that the plugs both the same number of pins but the plug shape is different. Is there any way to modify the plug without damaging it to bad, or am i going to have to find a DET plug to make it work. Thanks for any help.

Cut and splice in the DE maf plug into your harness.

Yeah i was gonna do that but im not sure which wire goes where? The DE plug has a green and red solid wire and a white/red striped wire. The DET plug has a white and black solid wire and a black/white striped wire. Can anyone help me matching them up or am i gonna have to risk it? Thanks for your help.
