Ok I have a 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R
I changed the fuel filter and just changed the fuel pump now. I just got done and when I try turn it over a couple times to prime it, it has power but I might have hooked something up wrong because when I put the key in the on position, my fuel gauge needle stays way below E but I have 3/4 tank in the car. And it seems like it's making a slurping noise each time it primes, like it's not fully primed.
Another important thing is when I took the old one out, I did not see the little white filter bag on it. I reached down into the holder the pump goes into and I can't retrieve it. I'm not sure if it's even in there. I can't get that far in there anyways.
Those two terminals on top of the pump went back on fine, the same way they were taken off. And I put the main fuel pump tube to the "outward" outlet on the plate, and the inward one to the inlet on the plate.
HELP I need to get this car running.
