Ok, so I'm about to pick up a G20 with about 181k miles, and the car is in fantastic shape. The mileage is the only thing that really concerns me. Should I be worried? Do a compression test? Anything else to look for?

leakdown and check the documentation for when the timing chain was serviced, if it hasn't been serviced yet, listen carefully at the front of the motor for weird sounds like rubbing or grinding.

compression test would be good, so would a leakdown test.

If you're about to buy the car, look over its documents. Check out where the guy had the car serviced, check the intervals for oil changes, etc. If the seller doesn't have documentation, the burden of finding all that out sits on your shoulders.
