SR20DE ECU S15 PROBLEMS

HI guys...a few weeks ago i bought an SR20DE (non turbo) motor from a s15 with vtc, the motor not included the ECU, now i trying to find the original ECU 23710-85f01 with any luck, i was going to buy a 180x sx 99 ECU but i talk to a japanese guy and he told me that the ECU will not work ... so i am confuse i need help what other ECU i can use with this motor... i think that the s14 SER20DE 23710-65f01 will work but i dont have any luck too

I find to options today...i find a SR20DE s14 ECU and a sr20de S15 eCU ( BUT THIS FORM A a/t silvia ) what do you think?? which one i should buy??

the A/T S15 is only different for about 5 pins, 4 extra for the actual AT portion and one relabeled. Some of the maps might be also different to compensate for the "slugginesh" of the AT transmission. I also think that the S14 didn't come with VTC, so that will definetely will be a factor if you were to try to run your engine with the S14 ECU. I would definetely get the specific one that you need.

Try contacting JDM engine retailers, forum sponsors, etc...sometimes they might even have one sitting around for cheap....


Correction: S14 and S15's :gapteeth: did came with VTC, my bad....
