Is there any compatibility between the RWD SR20DE and the KA24DE as far as bolt on parts or anything else? Just from what I can see the engines look the same and appear similar and size and I was checking out the japanese HKS site and they make some pretty sweet looking headers for the SR20DE. If I had the 2 engines side by side would I be able to switch around intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds and run them with no problem? Also I read earlier about being able to use the ECU from an NA SR on the KA whats the deal with that?

no internals would be the same. 2.0 vs 2.4 some of the externals probably would bolt up.

well I didnt think anything inside would be the same . . . . just mainly concerned if I could use that header and if there would be any drawbacks from going with that rather then something designed for the ka . . . **** honda boys use headers from all the diffrent engines

No way, totally different engines. Manifolds won't bolt up. Honda guys can use different manifolds within the same family, but they can't just throw anything on there - you can't throw an B-series manifold on an H22. The same is true for us, you can put an SR20DET manifold on a SR20DE, but not on a KA.

Well H22s kinda dwarf the B series engines . . but I guess that answers my question . . . . . damn . . . . . the KA has crappy aftermarket support I was just hoping that it might work . . . . eh oh well . . . sniff sniff
