I just put in a new battery, i checked all connections everything seems to be fine. I read about some clutch interlock relay, do SR have this?? The starter wont even click
So even if the ignitor is bad it should crank than huh?
if you have nothing at the starter, then follow the procedure I gave you and I'm gonna bet the starter is fine. Check the input at the starter see if it is getting juice before you go and buy a starter that isnt the problem. I'm gonna bet that the problem is the blue relay in the pass front area, the front of the inner aprin at the front of the car behind the headlight. Or the clutch switch. The relay in the front that I speak of is a main relay for the electrical system, if that fails, then the starter itself will not engage. Therefore the cas will not turn, therefore there will be no spark. Its not the ignitor chip, it would still crank, and before replacing the starter make sure the circuit has power, if not, then its the relay, or the clutch switch isnt being pushed in at the pedal.
