SR20 with AVC-R and SAFC whats going on? Help

Hey guys I seem to be having a problem with my damn apexi avcr and safc. I bought the car and supposedly it was hooked up b4 I bought the car and were disconnected to sell but i bought the car and the controllers. Anyway I hooked up the AVC-R and it worked fine i didint have time that night to hook up the SAFC also so i drove the car for 2 days with just the avcr and everything was fine untill tonight i hook up the safc and the back light comes on but nothing elts. So I look at the avcr and the same deal the digital display is not coming on just the backlight. I turn the car on and with the safc pluged it the car revs up then stalls. i disconnected the safc and the car idle is fine. But the damn avcr wont come on the digi display is blank but the orage backlight is on. CAN ANYONE PLEASE PLEASE help me out. Thanks.

Sounds like something shorted there bud, sorry. If the screen on the SAFC is just blank with all of the display lights on then its most likely toast. I currently have 5 of those here the same way and am working on the problem. I am trying to locate the microproccesors to see if when these people hook them up wrong it shorts out. In time I'll find out though. Also go through the wires to see if there actually is a short.

If you can find someone locally that has the same electronics, you can plug your SAFC/AVCR into their harness to see if it works with their harness. If it does, then most likely it is your wiring that is a problem.

But if he didn't have them working when you bought the car, he probably sold them to you knowing they were dead. You should have seet right thru that "I just disconnectred them to sell the car" B.S.

Im a idiot i should have seen through that but hey you live you learn but the avcr worked then when i went to hook up the safc im thinking the ground came lose on the avcr and blew it. Well time for Power FC
