sr20 turbo whistle

ive had my red tp for over a year now and resentlly it began to make a different spool noise when under wot. it is stil boosting fine but the spool sounds more like a whistle now and im just curious if that is a precursor to turbo failure....the lag is normal and as i said so is the boost...i have the boost set at ten lbs right now...ne ideas??

Is there a leak in the intake before the turbo? A hole could cause a whistling sound. Also, check your air filter to see if it is still in good shape.

hey check to see if the bolts are tight where the turbo meets the exhaust manifold very common for those to losened i know cause mine was the same way good luck
