Helping with an SR20 swap into an older Datsun, but the trans is too long.

Are there any Nissan transmissions that bolt up to an SR that are shorter than the regular S-chassis trans?

87-88 Nissan 200SX, FS5W71C trans, it's a few inches shorter.
Not a direct bolt on, but you can swap bell housings.
