SR20 Timing guides.

soo i broke my timing chain guide the other day and its the plastic one that looks like this

and then i went to order one from nissan with the part number i got from this site. and it turns out to be a metal one. like this (long straight one)

so my question is are they the same? i also ordered some bolts too and the nissan man said that the bolts are for a KA24E.

any input?

It'll bolt up fine. Nissan updated the guide to a metal part because the plastic was breaking.

Order the new bolt for it as well, I believe it is a different diameter... either that, or I received the wrong bolt (originally) when I rebuilt my motor.
