After having my car for a year now, I decided it's time for me to start saving up for my engine swap. I have kept my 89 240sx pretty much stock except for Injen intaje, straight pipe, and HKS catback exhaust. Anyway, I just don't know what the difference between the red top and the black top sr20det. I also found this website selling various used japanese engines but I am not sure what else I would need other than the stuff included with the engine.

I know that i would have to buy the front mount intercooler kit and the battery relocating kit. other than that, i don't knw what else i have to buy.
