sr20 swap questions

i might buy a 93 240sx off this kid. its automatic but i planned on swapping out the transmission when i swapped motors since the motor comes with the transmission already attatched. i was looking how to swap a automatic transmission to a manual and it seemed pretty complicated with the wiring. would it be the same if the trans comes with the motor itself ? also does anyone know a round about price for a baseline swap like not installing any aftermarket parts just so i can get an idea of what im going to spend ? thanks...

It's been a while since I've done a 5spd swap, but I only remember having to jump the park/neutral safety switch at the connector by the fuse box....not exactly a wiring nightmare. The swap itself is pretty straightforward too if you'd just search for sr20 swap wiring. Best place out there for the guide is frsport.com As far as pricing goes, I did my last swap for just over 3k including 900 for the car. That's also getting the motor from eBay which I don't exactly recommend unless you can check it out in person.

yea i guess it wont be too bad. but i was looking at the motor and transmission from ebay. couldnt find any around me. it does have a warrenty. and the car i might get for around 300.
