So, I am really losing hope here. I am (almost) done my swap and followed the frsport wiring guide with the proper fixes(making sure the right ignition wire was soldered to the harness plug, etc.)

The engine is getting no spark and the fuel pump is priming but there is no fuel inside of the cylinders, plugs are dry when pulled. I bought a used ignitor chip but it was from a reputable source so I am kind of ruling that out. Right now, my brain wants to think that my ECU is no good. I was thinking of starting by using a wiring specialties harness but I am starting to think wiring isn't the problem as we spent hours going over it today and it was all correct.

I am just here to see if anyone else thinks this is a bad ECU? I am just super frustrated right now and would love to get things sorted out..

Ground wires in the intake manifold bolted down?

Yes, after figuring the alternator ground problem I made sure all my grounds were secure. Is there any way to tell if your ECU is fried other than obvious visual damage or putting it in another working sr20 setup?

This may help: Test the INPUT side of the ignitor chip wiring harness with a multi meter. You should see DC voltage pulses from the ECU on the 4 injector channels while cranking if it is working.

What codes do you have? If your ecu is turning on (which it sounds like because the fuel pump is priming) and you have no injector pulse or ign pulse id day there is something wrong with the cas. Is the cas getting power? Cas ground wire have continuity to ground? Harness look ok?

How do you check codes on the E5 with no LED light? I will test the CAS power tonight and make sure it isn't toast. My harness looks like a regular JDM harness. Not very clean but having looked through it so many times it doesn't seem that there has been any tampering to the wires.. I just know that no spark and no fuel can only be caused by few things. I would really like to avoid buying both a harness and an ECU if I only need one right now

Your dummy lights all have 12v switched. Pick one that is not used and fallow the printed circuit board to its corresponding wire. cut that wire and run it to the ”malfunction indicator” pin on the ecu.(download ecu pinout.) Turn key to run position, turn screw on ecu clockwise for 2 seconds, then counterclockwise. The ”check engine” bulb that you just designated will start flashing you're codes on the cluster. Your other option, code to your local pick and steal. Cut the obd1 plug and wire up your consult cable. Then buy a consult cable and hook it up to your laptop.

Thanks. I will try the dummy light test and see if the ECU will even give me anything. If the ECU is no good, would it tell me through code or is that going to be something I need to rule out? I did order a new wiring harness from Wiring Specialties just for peace of mind. If the new wiring doesn't work, and I get no obvious codes would it be safe to say that the problem is narrowed down to the ECU itself?

The only other thing I can add is all my lights work, I have power to my radio and all power features, my fuel pump didn't prime before I made a wiring correction FR sport didn't mention but I found and fixed. When I turn the key my starter is fully powered and the engine turns over easily but there is zero spark and injectors do not pulse.
