I will be doing a SR swap this year and I am doing my research now so when I'm ready I have a grasp on what to expect. I just don't know if it is better to buy the front clip and get everything or buy a motor and trans. package. Any info would be appreciated.

If you're doing this in your driveway or don't have a fully stocked garage of supplies, I would suggest getting the front clip. It's also easier for first timers so they can compare engine bays.

I typically suggest motor sets for people who have done swaps in the past and know what to expect. Also, getting the clip should give you better assurance that you have all the parts you need.

yup...

and having the front clip will give you the ability to pull a full motor and transmission before you pull one from the car its going into. That should give you some practice because it is almost exactly the same as pulling a KA. Remember to keep it stock until yoru swap is complete.

the front clip is definitely the way to go.
