Is it possible? Call me insane for asking but I think it'd be kinda neat.

the simple solution for a project like that would be.....

1)get a lot of money2)continually throw the money at your project car until it works

see, just a simple two step process:icesangel

but seriously,

i dont know much about fiat spyder 2000's but i think it would be a great project to look into. you have to consider factors like how much costom work it will need, how much time you have for the project, total costs estimate, how the car will perform with a 500 pound motor, etc....

if your serious keep us informed, the sr20 is a great motor

Anything is possible.. well almost anything.

Will you be doing it yourself? Do you have fabrication facilities/abilities?Do the oveall dimensions of the motor fit the proposed engine bay/trans tunnel?Front or rear sump on the existing motor?

If you plan to do it yourself, and you can fabricate, and it physically fits, and teh engine mounts can be made to line up or there's room for fabricated ones, and teh turbo clears the steering and... and... and...

The Datsun 510 guys put VG30's, KA24's, SR20, etc into their cars, so anything is possible withteh right tools, talent, time, and of course money!
