Hey guys I have a bit of an issue here...

Ive been finishing up my drift build lately while its on jackstands and decided to try to shift into gear. Its an S13 SR20DET full swap into a S14, engine runs great but the clutch will not disengage to let me shift. When the cars off it will shift fine. This includes ALL gears.

So i looked at all the typical things: leaks, clutch adjustment, slave and have ruled all of those out. But the one thing that caught my attention was that the clutch fork, when the slave is out, is very far forward. It is EXTREMELY difficult to install the slave cylinder into this trans. I need to fight the clutch fork in order to get the slave bolt holes to line up.

Started it in first gear and everything worked (on jackstands). Thats as far as ive gotten today. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with something like this before.

Something of definately not right. Either way your going to have to pull thr trans to see.what's going on. You might be able to pull that rubber boot and look in there with a.flashlight... Maybe even a mirror but I doubt it.
