sr20 s13 / sr20 s14

sr20 s14 has the vvt thing but the sr20 s13 doesnt, this is the only major differnet right? then the red and black top are just the year the engine modle was made right? Thanks

S14 Blacktop SR has VTC, Variable Timed Camshaft. It also has a bigger ball bearing turbo. Also, there are some things about the S14 SR that make the swap much simpler and easier. Such as Coolant lines for the heater core are FULL soft lines so there is no hard lines and doing a backflip and twist and shout to get the heater core lines on.

Yes the wiring is different. That's why there are different guides to wire in an s14 sr.
