ok guys first of all, here's the mod- S13 Redtop- Koyo Rad with Permacool Fan- 3" downpipe w/ APex N1- Stock SMIC- Walbro Fuel Pump- Denso Iridium Plugs- Cone Filter- Greddy Type S BOV- Spec Stage 2 Clutch- Gutted Cat

Just finish the swap about a month ago, I did the break in period and everything as recommended (500 miles on the clutch and motor). The motor ran fine until a few days ago I heard a loud a$$ popping sound (sound like backfiring) and my car started to ran like hell. bogged real bad, can't rev. I figured i had a bad exhaust leak and my Turbo didn't spool up so i started to take things apart the following day. I took off the Downpipe and got to the Turbo Outlet to find out that my AIV plug was missing???? What the hell, i don't know how the plug can possibly blow out (I remember putting the plug in halfway and it was tight as hell so i left it like that). Anyway, is this the problem? has anyone has this happen to them before? Any suggestions are appreciated guys

AIV plug would cause exhaust leak, would cause irratic idle, would make your car run like crap.

my bro in law blew that plug out. go to home depot, find a brass plug in the plumbing section i think. like 6 bucks i think.
