The smoke I have isnt really blue its pretty white but I'm not loosing coolant, and the smoke smells a little like oil smoke. I believe my turbo has been going for a while now I hear a slight tick coming from the manifold area at idle. Lately it started to smoke after driving for a while and then coming to a stop.... Drive through at mcdonalds they gotta be hating me by now. It will smoke for 10-30 secs then stop. If I let it sit there idleing for a few minutes it will do it again then stop. I figured it was turbo seal finally going but I went to the drag strip this weekend and after I got back problem solved no more smoke at idle. Its been a few days and it still hasnt smoked yet. Any idea??

Check your elbows around your turbo for oil.

No leaks...... no oil in the turbo pipes.....I guess the smoke wasnt coming from the turbo at all... not exactly a good thing cause I dont know where it came from or why it stopped, but its not losing oil or coolant... I'm hoping it was just a build up of stuff since it sat for so long.. but then again after I swapped it I drove probably 4 months before it started to smoke guess I'll just drive it till somthing else happens, lol.
