It's not coming from the front of the engine at all it's coming from the middle exhaust bank but I'll check the chain anyways tomorrow

I did remove it and the sound went away. Now I am experiencing some other issues. Everytime I put it into neutral to come to a stop sign or what not, my car just dies right out. I also had two very loud backfires occur that stalled my car out while I was coming to a stop. I dunno what it is but it scared the ish outta me.

could be a possibilaty that your chain might of skiped a teeth or it could be the IAC valve some times it gets oil in it causeing it to die at stops

the connector from the ignitor to the coilpack sub-harness was being pulled tight from the back of the block and was intermittently breaking contact. I removed the bracket from behind the head and pressed the connector together and viola! Runs and pulls like a champ
